Dr. Ragini Bhakta serves as the Institutional Review Board Chair and is the Director of the Teaching Certificate Program at Roseman University. She is also an Associate Professor and teaches Pharmacotherapy courses at Roseman University in addition to leading Cardiology APPE Rotations at St. Rose Dominican Hospital – Siena Campus. She specializes in dosing protocols, and antiplatelet therapy. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of California, Riverside and her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of the Pacific. She also completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Long Beach.

Colleen Takahashi serves as the Institutional Review Board Director, and manages IRBManager, CITI Training, and the Clinical Trials PRS System for Roseman University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science at the University of California, San Diego. Before working at Roseman, Colleen worked at a private company that accredited Continuing Medical Education for physicians and has also worked in interventional research settings for children with Autism and patients with Parkinson’s Disease. She enjoys bringing her previous experience and knowledge in both regulations and research to her position here at Roseman University.

 

 

Dallin Cardon

Dallin Cardon serves as a Student Institutional Review Board Administrative Assistant. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing at Brigham Young University in 2019 and is a DMD candidate graduating in 2023. He is proficient in R for data analytics and enjoys finding new ways to wrangle and summarize large sets of data. Before starting dental school, Dallin worked in the Marriott School of Business, researching an algorithm for flagging complaints on Twitter; now, he is involved in Dr. Freitas’s research on CD5 T-Cells. In his spare time, he delights in cooking, skiing, and flossing his teeth.
